Arenco

Initially founded in 1998, Arenco commenced operations as a contractor operating in the building and civil contracting sectors of the construction industry. In late 2004 Arenco became a member of the Daracon Group. Management and personnel remained unchanged and the company continued to trade successfully in similar sectors of the market. Arenco employs more than 60 office and site personnel, and being a fully owned subsidiary of the Daracon Group, is able to offer services in terms of project scope and size that have the underpinning financial strength of Daracon.

Australia’s First Double Helix Bridge Opens in Sydney

Lachlan's Line Bridge

It’s the first double helix bridge in the world to have a dilating diameter - getting larger over the supports (where bending moments are higher) and narrower midspan (where moments are lower) - whilst each steel plate used to make the box sections varies in thickness depending on structural demand to reduce dead weight and material consumption.
